The National Craft Fair finished on Sunday night - phew! It was tough exhibiting for five very long days but worth the effort thank goodness. Showed my enamel and wire wall hangings for the first time and I was delighted with the response - I sold nearly half of them and ended up getting several commissions too. The jewellery sales were good as well, and this year there was definitely a shift from selling lots of small value items, to fewer sales but all with a much higher value. That's good all round...and I have already started on my new packaging design (its only taken 10 years to get around to it...I'm not a fast mover!). I've left it in the hands of a very capable graphic designer who has some great ideas.
Now to start designing some new jewellery for Showcase trade fair in January. A jeweller's work is never done!
