Moone Cufflinks

Sterling silver cufflinks with hinged cuff. The faces of the men are highly polished and the bodies are sandblasted to give a lovely powdery/satin effect. These cufflinks are a pair with one man facing forward and one in profile for a more interesting design.

These cufflinks were inspired by the Moone High Cross which stands in Moone Abbey in Co. Kildare. The cross was built between 900 and 1000 AD, but had remained unknown about and buried until 1835 when works were carried out on the graveyard at the abbey.
